What is Harmonyca?

Harmonyca is an injectable combininghyaluronic acid andcalcium hydroxyapatite microspheres.

As you’ve already noticed, hyaluronic acid injections improve skin quality. The reasons are as follows:

Fibroblasts, the skin cells that produce collagen in particular, are rejuvenated byhyaluronic acid in a mechanical way, as they stretch along the hyaluronic acid.
Calcium hydroxyapatite stimulates rejuvenated fibroblasts to produce high-quality young collagen.

Are the results immediate?

85.8% of areas treated in 48 patients showed significant clinical improvement between 1 and 3 months after treatment (according to a clinical study).

91.6% of patients showed an improvement in the overall appearance of the treated facial areas (according to a clinical study).

In fact, wherever Harmonyca is injected, collagen production is boosted throughout the face and neck. This is extremely interesting.
This product does not swell the skin or provide volume. Its action is focused on improving skin quality and support. It’s a kind of Skinbooster XXL, injected into the deep dermis to improve its elasticity.

Why wait three months?

Collagen production begins immediately after injection. But by the time the collagen network forms a visible weave under the skin, with the naked eye, we need three months.

A single injection session is required for this treatment of sagging facial skin.

Results are expected to last at least 18 months. Harmonyca treatment is then alternated with other types of skin treatment such as hyaluronic acid injections, peels and/or mesotherapy to improve skin quality in different ways and achieve natural results.

Harmonyca is injected into the side of the cheek. Clinical studies carried out with a 1.25 ml syringe on each side have produced excellent results in terms of patient and operator satisfaction.

Harmonyca, for use alone or in combination with other treatments

Harmonyca can be injected independently, mainly in the cheeks. In my practice, I often use it in combination with a facelift or tightening thread. Its action on increasing collagen production, and therefore skin elasticity, potentiates the results of facelifts and tightening threads. In effect, the skin will be more elastic and rejuvenated, reinforcing the effect of the correction of sagging skin induced by a facelift or threading. The results will be very natural.

Facial sagging: Microneedling or Harmonyca, which to choose?

Both techniques promote collagen production to improve skin elasticity, but deliver different results.

In microneedling, no product is injected. The action lies in perforating the skin and infusing specific products that penetrate deep into the skin through the microperforations.
